This course is for those who want to have a more individualised approach to learning the guitar. Students are encouraged to sit for the London College of Music (LCM) graded exam. This examination system covers Grade 1 to Grade 8.
Aim & Objectives/Expected Outcomes
This course allows a more personalised, systematic and all encompassing guitar education for the students. A wide variety of music pieces appropiate for their level will be provided to further enrich their understanding and appreciation of music, and also to improve their technique and repertoire.
The students in this course will be encouraged to prepare for LCM Graded Exam. The students on average can take one grade every 1 to 1 ½ years.
Target Students/Admission Requirements
The age group for this course will be 10 years and above. No musical background is required.

- Learning classical guitar repertoire
- Warm-up and finger exercises
- Scales and arpeggio studies
- Sight reading
